Decisions You Don't Make : Jeremiah 29:11 and Proverbs 19:21

It's funny how God works... we, in the flesh, spend time prepping and planning for occasions in our lives. Then, "BAM!", out of nowhere, God opens your eyes and changes a situation from the way you had planned to completely and utterly different.

Yesterday was both a settling and unsettling day for me. Changes occurred at my place of employment that have sent me on a perhaps temporary, perhaps not-so-temporary hiatus from the full-time workforce. AT 25 WEEKS PREGNANT! I have to admit, it's a little helpful because I don't have to sit in a desk chair all day, tied to my telephone, but at the same time, the lack of a paycheck is unnerving.

God choose the path he wanted for me because he knows something that I obviously do not. This is where sheer trust and faith in the Lord and His objectives (not mine) become the ultimate test.

Don't dwell too much on your plans for the future - start pointing your aim where God wants you and you will be more successful than you ever could have imagined.

Have a great day lovelies!

  1. Wao Tiffany. I been dealing with that, in some different situation. I made plans, I want this I want that, then I realized and ask "God, is that what you want for me?". I been so frustrated with my self physically, at that point that I let that affect my emotions and been sad. But I know God don't want that for me. I'm victorious in Jesus name. And it took me some times to realized that when I want something to go to Him and pray about it! But He is walking in front of me, making the way that I will walk, I have faith on him and my faith is unshakable!
